Morley-IAS addressable loop modules for fire alarm systems: the MI/DISO loop isolator, the MI/DMMIE single input monitor module and the MI/DCMOE control output module.
Morley addressable loop modules
Loop modules connect the addressable fire alarm panel to things that are not detectors: they protect the loop, bring in signals from other equipment and switch outputs during a fire. Morley-IAS makes the three modules below, listed as options.
Which module do you need?
Loop isolator MI/DISO: if a short circuit happens on the loop wiring, the isolator cuts off only the faulty section, so the rest of the system keeps working. Place isolators between groups of devices on every loop.
Single input monitor MI/DMMIE: monitors one normally-open contact, such as a sprinkler flow switch, valve tamper switch or another system’s alarm output. A tri-colour LED shows polling (green), alarm (red) and open-circuit fault (yellow).
Control output MI/DCMOE: gives either a single alarm circuit or a Form C relay, to release door holders, shut down AHUs or signal other systems during a fire. It can supervise the output wiring and report a fault if the external supply drops.
Each module uses one module address on the loop. Use them with panels such as the Morley ZXSe and DXc.

It depends on the loop design and local practice. A common approach is an isolator between every group of devices or every floor, so a short only affects a small section.
Can the output module shut down AHUs and release door holders?
Yes. The MI/DCMOE gives a relay or alarm circuit output for functions such as AHU shutdown and door holder release.
Which panels do these modules work with?
Morley-IAS addressable panels. Share your panel model and we will confirm compatibility.
