Newage SuperFire fire fighting nozzle with pistol grip
The Newage SuperFire fire fighting nozzle is a modern handline nozzle of the type fire brigades carry on their tenders. It has a pistol grip to hold, a lever to open and shut the water, and a front that turns to change the pattern from a straight jet to a wide fog. The body is light aluminium alloy, hard anodised against wear and corrosion, and the inlet is 63 mm male instantaneous.

What makes it different
- Shut-off in your hand: a ball valve worked by a lever, so the operator stops the water without walking back to the hydrant.
- Jet to fog: a straight stream for reach, a wide fog for cooling and protecting the crew, and a flush setting to clear dirt from the nozzle without shutting off.
- Spinning fog teeth: a moulded rubber bumper with flexible teeth breaks the water into a thick fog.
- Low back pressure: designed to give low back pressure, with sliding valves for smooth flow.
Compared with a short branch pipe, which only gives a jet and has no valve, the SuperFire gives the operator full control at the nozzle. Compared with the combat hose nozzle, it adds the pistol grip and a published flow of 475 LPM.
Who uses it
Industrial fire teams, refineries and warehouses, airports and municipal brigades who want one nozzle for attack and protection. It is a step up from the basic branch pipe in a building hose box.
