SafePro threaded landing valve 1.5 inch in gun metal
Most large hydrant valves bolt onto the pipe with a flange. The SafePro threaded landing valve 1.5 inch is different: its inlet is threaded, so it screws onto a 1.5 inch pipe or fitting. This makes it handy for smaller fire water lines, branch tappings and sites where the plumber works with screwed joints rather than flanges.
The body is gun metal, the copper alloy long used for fire fittings. It is listed in our hydrant valves category under fire hydrant fittings, in the SafePro range.
Threaded or flanged: which one do you need?
- Threaded (this valve): screws straight onto a 1.5 inch threaded pipe end. Quick to fit with standard pipe tools and thread sealant.
