Morley-IAS intelligent addressable wall-mounted fire alarm sounder (WSO-PR-N05) and sounder strobe with flashing light (WSS-PR-N05), with selectable tones and volume levels.

Morley intelligent wall sounder and sounder strobe

Sounders warn people to leave the building when the fire alarm operates. The Morley-IAS intelligent range from Morley-IAS is addressable, so it is powered and controlled straight from the loop, without separate sounder wiring.

  • Sounder WSO-PR-N05: a red wall-mounted sounder with up to about 97 dB(A) at 1 metre, 32 tones and high, medium and low volume settings.
  • Sounder strobe WSS-PR-N05: the same sounder with a flashing strobe light, so the alarm can also be seen. Use it in noisy areas such as plant rooms and workshops, and where people with hearing difficulty may be present.

The low-profile base gives an IP24 rating, suitable for normal indoor areas. Use them with manual call points and the Morley addressable panels on our site.

Should I choose a sounder or a sounder strobe?

A sounder is enough for most offices and corridors. Choose the sounder strobe for noisy areas and places where a visual warning is needed.

Can the volume be adjusted?

Yes. There are high, medium and low volume settings and 32 tones to choose from.

Does it need separate wiring?

No. It is an addressable loop device, powered and controlled from the fire alarm loop.
