SafePro 2 way fire brigade inlet connection for hydrant and wet riser systems
A fire brigade inlet connection, also called a breeching inlet, is fixed on the outside wall of a building. When the fire brigade arrives, they connect two hoses from their pump to the SafePro 2 way fire brigade inlet and push water straight into the building’s wet riser or fire hydrant line. This keeps the hydrant valves on every floor supplied with water even if the building’s own pump or tank is not enough.
It is part of our fire inlet, hydrant valve and fire hydrant fittings range from SafePro. Choose gun metal or stainless steel with the buttons above, set the quantity and send us an enquiry for the best price.
Gun metal or stainless steel fire brigade inlet?
- Gun metal 2 way inlet: the traditional choice for fire hydrant fittings, a heavy copper alloy body that stands up well to water and weather.
- Stainless steel (SS) 2 way inlet: lighter with a bright finish, often chosen for modern buildings and sites near the sea.
Not sure which one your project needs? Share your drawing or riser size on WhatsApp and we will suggest the right fire brigade inlet.
Where a 2 way breeching inlet is used
- High-rise residential towers and housing societies
- Malls, hospitals, hotels and office buildings
- Factories, warehouses and industrial sheds with a hydrant system
Other parts of a fire hydrant system
A hydrant system needs more than the inlet connection. See the SafePro double outlet landing valve for each floor, fire hose pipes such as the SafePro Type A RRL hose 63 mm x 15 m, hose couplings and the SafePro short branch pipe nozzle. For a full hydrant installation, see our fire hydrant system projects.
