HICARE hand sleeves protect the forearm between glove and shoulder: Kevlar knitted sleeves for heat and cuts in metalworking, and aluminized aramid sleeves for radiant heat at furnaces and welding.
HICARE heat resistant hand sleeves
Gloves stop at the wrist or elbow, but the forearm is often closest to the heat or the sharp edge. Hand sleeves cover that gap. HICARE makes two types.
Kevlar knitted (18 inch): knitted Kevlar fabric that resists heat and cuts, flexible and light. For sheet metal, glass handling, press shops and hot parts.
Aluminized aramid: aluminized aramid outer with flame retardant cotton inside and a third FR cotton layer. Reflects radiant heat at furnaces, welding and casting.
