SCBA Training: Breathing Apparatus and Rescue Course

A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) only protects someone who can check, wear and use it under stress. This hands-on course trains your fire and rescue team to inspect the set, put it on fast, manage their air and work safely in smoke.

How we run it

On-site, hands-onPractice with your own sets, so the team knows the exact model they will use.
Smoke and confined space practiceRealistic practice in a safe, controlled setup where the site allows it.
Small batchesEvery participant gets time on the set; batches are planned around your shifts.
Certificate for every participantA certificate of participation for each person and an attendance record for you.

Who should attend

  • Plant fire teams and ERT members
  • Fire wardens of high-risk areas
  • Chemical, pharma and refinery teams
  • Confined space entry teams
  • Security and fire station staff
  • Maintenance teams in hazardous areas

Breathing apparatus is only as good as the training

Many sites keep SCBA sets for emergencies, but the sets are rarely worn. In a real fire or gas leak, a missed check or a loose mask can turn a rescuer into a casualty. Regular hands-on training keeps your team fast and safe with the equipment you already have.

We train on your own sets, so the team practises with the exact cylinder, gauge and mask they will use. If you need more sets or spare cylinders, we can quote for them along with fireman suits, helmets and accessories.
