AAAG swinging fire hose reel drum
A fire hose reel is the first aid firefighting point in a building: a wall mounted drum with a small bore hose that is always connected to the water supply, so one person can pull it out and fight an early fire without opening a hydrant. The AAAG M256S drum swings out from the wall so the hose runs out in any direction.
Drum: mild steel sheet, red powder coated, swinging wall bracket.
Inlet: 1 inch male BSP thread.
Nozzle: shut-off nozzle on the hose end.
Rubber or thermoplastic hose
Rubber braided hose is heavy duty and handles rough use in factories and car parks. Thermoplastic hose is lighter and easier to pull, common in offices, hotels and residential towers. Pick 20mm or 25mm bore, and 30 or 40 metre length to reach every corner of the floor.
