AAAG fire brigade inlet connections (breeching inlets) let the fire brigade pump water into a building's hydrant system: cast iron body, 2 or 4 way 63mm instantaneous male couplings in gunmetal or stainless steel, built-in NRV, flanged outlet.
AAAG fire brigade inlet connection
A fire brigade inlet (fire brigade connection or breeching inlet) is fixed on the outside of a building. When the fire tender arrives, it connects its hoses here and pumps water straight into the building’s hydrant or riser system. A built-in non-return valve (NRV) stops water flowing back out.
The AAAG inlet has a cast iron body, 63mm instantaneous male couplings with built-in 63mm NRVs, and a flanged outlet to the hydrant main.
2 way or 4 way
2 way: two inlets, 100mm flanged outlet. Common for mid-rise buildings and smaller systems.
4 way: four inlets, 150mm flanged outlet, for high-rise buildings and large hydrant systems that need more water.
Couplings come in gunmetal or stainless steel. Accessories such as blank caps are not included unless listed in the quote. See all fire brigade inlets.
