AAAG 25 NB air release valves let trapped air out of fire hydrant and sprinkler pipelines so the line fills with water properly: gunmetal or stainless steel, 25mm male threaded inlet.

AAAG air release valve

Air trapped at the high points of a fire hydrant or sprinkler pipeline reduces flow and can cause water hammer. An air release valve fitted at those high points lets the air escape automatically while the line fills, then closes when water arrives. AAAG makes it with a 25mm (1 inch) male BSP / NPT threaded inlet and a natural polished finish.

Gunmetal (G152): the traditional valve for water service.
Stainless steel (SS152): corrosion resistant, at a slightly lower price.
