Armorfire butterfly and wafer check valves
Fire pump rooms and hydrant mains need valves to isolate sections of pipe and to stop water flowing back. Armorfire wafer valves fit between two pipe flanges, so they are short, light and easy to install.
Butterfly valve, lever operated: cast / ductile iron body, SG iron or SS304 disc, nitrile or EPDM seat. Quick quarter-turn isolation.
Butterfly valve, gear operated: hand wheel and gearbox, for bigger sizes and smooth, controlled closing. Maker’s rating 16 kg/cm2 working pressure.
Wafer non-return valve, cast iron or stainless steel: lets water flow one way only, for example after each fire pump. Sizes 25 mm to 250 mm (1 to 10 inch).
