Justrite Type II safety can
Pouring petrol or solvent from an open drum or plastic bottle is risky: vapour escapes and a spark can travel back into the container. A Type II safety can has two openings, one to fill and one with a hose to pour, and a stainless steel flame arrester in each that stops a flame from reaching the liquid. The Justrite 7250130 AccuFlow can holds 5 gallons (about 19 litres).

What is the difference between Type I and Type II safety cans?
A Type I can has one opening for filling and pouring. A Type II can has two: one for filling and a separate spout with a hose for pouring, which makes controlled pouring easier.
What can I store in it?
Petrol, diesel, kerosene and flammable solvents. Red cans are used for flammables.
