AAAG 63mm fire hydrant landing valves for building and factory hydrant systems: single outlet (oblique) and double outlet, in gunmetal or stainless steel, with flanged inlet, instantaneous outlet, blank cap and chain.
AAAG fire hydrant landing valve
A landing valve (hydrant valve) is the outlet on a wet riser or yard hydrant line where the fire hose is connected. Open the hand wheel and water from the hydrant main flows to the hose and branch pipe. AAAG makes them in gunmetal and stainless steel, with a 63mm female instantaneous outlet, a flanged inlet and a blank cap with chain to protect the outlet.
Single or double outlet
Single outlet (oblique): one 63mm outlet on a 75 / 80mm flanged inlet. The standard valve for each floor of a wet riser and for yard hydrants.
Double outlet: two outlets on one valve body, so two hose lines can run from the same point. Used at larger buildings, factories and yard hydrants where more water is needed.
Gunmetal or stainless steel
Gunmetal is the traditional choice, strong and long lasting in water service. Stainless steel is lighter on the budget for many projects and resists corrosion well. Both come with a red finish on the body.
